What a lovely start to a week off! A fab Vintage Garden Party at Red House, It was a perfect day with lovely weather and beautiful cakes! what more can you ask for. Gabs waited patiently for the time to pass on Sunday so we could head off to Red House, she wanted to put on her flowery frock at six in the morning! Fin however was in a football tournament and unfortunately did not do so well so he and Will did not miss out on all the fun in the end. Gabs found a new friend and had a lovely time creating her own mini garden in a plant pot! Speaking of gardens, I really need to tend to my pots whilst I am off they are seriously neglected! I don't know about you but whenever I am off work I fully intend to do all sorts around the house but time just is running away with me and before I know it I will be back at work! It is lovely just enjoying the weather and going for lots of walks with Fin and Gabs, catching up with a few friends and having a nice coffee or two!
Had to show you the fun Fin and Gabs had on the trampoline, they can bounce for hours!
Gabs was so desperate to get her hands on one of the lovely cupcakes by Jenny! She was not disappointed! They were just lovely almost too nice to eat! nearly! I think Gabs had two but she may have tried to sneak another one in when I was not looking. Fin is not a lover of cupcakes he did however demolish the strawberries!

Just thought I would show you the little card I made using the fab Martha Stwart punch purchased at the Summer Crafting show. It will be used for many more designs I am sure!
I also experimented with the button punch as shown above!
Well thats is school is officially out! so for the next six weeks Fin and Gabs will be about! I have a week off work next week so will be doing lots of fun things, Gabs is doing a book challenge at the library, Fin did not want to do it, think he feels he has done enough reading this school term! I will soon remedy that!

Summer Crafting and flowers
I had a fantastic time on Sunday when I went to the Summer Crafting show at Doncaster Racecourse. I saw lots of exciting goodies and could have gone completely mad!! One thing i did find was a fab Martha Stewart punch which I have wanted for a while and it was cheaper too, I love a bargain and cannot wait to start creating with that! I think it will be used in my next project for Crafts Beautiful, which is Christmas! Yikes!!! Its also perfect for Wedding cards, think I will make some tonight so will show you tomorrow! Another thing I was excited about at the show was to see Kirsty Wiseman, I did not however introduce myself, as she also designs for Crafts Beautiful, as she was very busy at her stand. I saw some fantastic new stamps of hers which I will be purchasing in the near future!
I just wanted to show you the above wreath which my friend Linda Jones of "The Scented Garden" made for me, this wreath is the inspiration behind my new bathroom curtains, I fell in love with the fabric, which Will thinks is "rather old fashioned" but he will love them once they are up. I will show you these when Victoria has made them!!! I love our little bathroom wilndow and it will sound very stupid to you out there but it is one of the reasons I wanted to buy our house!! I still feel that way six years later too!

A Wonderful Life, Wild flowers,Gabby-Henge and Star jumps!
I just had to show the beautiful wild flowers in the meadow approaching Red House, they are so pretty. Gabs, I and Jenny took advantage of the super sunny Sunday and went for a lovely walk
Just before you reach the meadow flowers, Gabs could not resist standing in the middle of these randomly placed boulders, instantly, Gabby-Henge came to mind! Always one to take a photo opportunity, she was in her element and having a wonderful time.
You could say that the sunshine goes to your head! or maybe Mad Gab is catching! Gab certainly brings out the laughter in everyone! We had a lovely, lovely day! If you are wondering whwre the boys are, well! as predicted, The Grand Prix and Football won over the choice of that or a gentle leisurely day at Red House! One good thing though, I did manage to get a lot of work done and came up with some new designs which I will show you next time.

Buttons! Buttons! and more Buttons!
My weekend has started off fab! A very kind lady brought in a tin of butons to the York shop so I now have some of the most lovely buttons to add to my cards. This being my second weekend of my new rota at work, and I have had a lovely lovely day out with Will, Fin and Gabs in the super sunshine, I did pop into work just to say a quick hello! Will was supposed to be having a little op today and they cancelled it right at the last minute, why do hospitals do that? He was looking forward to a nice week off in the sunshine next week, but not to be! I dont know if I have ever mentioned that i do projects for magazine Crafts Beautiful, well I have to get into Christmas mood at the minute as am currently doing the Christmas issues for the mag and I received all the lovely papers that i had ordered today, they are so gorgeous and really have inspired me even though it is red hot sunshine, it just does not seem right! Especially when the issue that is out now has my Beach hut project in! I do not know what is in store for tomorrow but it is cup final day so we all know what Will and Fin will be doing, I have also been informed that the Grand Prix is on too! Well I may get some jobs done!

Summer Holidays are looming!
Well, Fin and Gabs cannot wait to fish school for the holidays, it is that they talk about! bearing this in mind it prompted me to make a few little Teacher items also a customer at work wanted some little end of term presents for some of her class children, what i created is picured above, the card is a design of mine.
It is anice time at school for Fin and Gabs at the moment, Gabs went on a school trip to the castle yesterday, it was a lovely warm day and she had a fantastic time, she did however have to do a lot of walking which does not please her at the best of times! Fin tells me that he had a maths day today, "Great fun" he said! I cannot think of anything worse!!
There are lots more things coming up, both are practicing hard for their sports days and then they both have their school fairs coming up so i am having to whip up some tombola prizes!
I am hoping that Victoria has made my new curtains for my bathroom so i can show you the inspiration for the fabric i chose! No pressure V!

Glorious summer days and washing!
We have had a fantastic sunny weekend here in sunny Scarborough, so much so that I felt the need to do all the washing and of course I have an image to go with it from the fantastic Mary Engelbreit, she is just so clever!
We have done the tourist seaside thing today and Fin and Gab had a great time on the beach, playing football, Fin of course cannot go anywhere without his trusty ball! and Gabs was quite happy playing in the sand and enjoying her slush puppy.
This has been the first weekend of the new rota at Bespoke Country and I now do not work weekends, just a Monday to Friday girl, which I must say felt a little strange after having worked Saturdays for so long. Wil however is very pleased as the conflict of Fins football training and Gabs Rainbow activities is no longer a problem.
