What will be, will be!

You all know I adore Doris Day! Sometimes whatever life throws at you, what will be will be! Doris gets this perfectly!
I got the most fantastic things for my birthday, one special pressie I got was the following image

This is a card printed from the original which I also received, framed and backed onto the most amazing paper! I will treasure this forever, I got the gift from two guys who have become such good friends of ours, so thank you to Martyn and Stephen. The drawing is an original from one of Martyn's designs so it is copyrighted to him but I just had to show it to you.

On a different track now, Wedding fever is still around!! I have been busy doing Wedding work all this week but had a nice reprieve when  had an order for a couple of Photo Albums for a little Boy and Girl,

I had real fun doing these, but then I had to get back to the serious work!!

For my birthday I also received a fab brooch, let me show you which one!

I love it and it is firmly in place on my jacket!

All in all its been a funny old week! I am glad its Friday tomorrow and Gabs and I will have our usual dance around the kitchen to "The Candyman" on Radio 2 just after 8 o'clock in the morning. It is the start of our weekend and gets Friday off to a flying start!
Have a happy weekend everyone!

  1. Our morning dance (when we get the time) is to What Shall We Do With A Drunken Sailor. Gets us all energised and smiley. Then we are inevitably late for the school run...
Have a great weekend, love the books for Annie Bea and Billy Whizz, Ax

  2. I LOVED this Doris Day clip, thanks so much for sharing it today! I've always had what will be will be as one of my sayings - it's so true and has got me through all sorts of uncertain times! My mother used to sing the Doris Day song when I was a child which is probably why it's stuck with me. I loved your birthday brooch, such a sweet strawberry. Have a happy weekend, Andrea.

Love the things you have made just gorgeous!

A dance about in the morning can be just the thing to get you started. Me and my girl have been known to do a jig or two to the radio of a morning!

Thank you for you lovely comment on my blog its always nice to 'meet' new people.

Hope you're all well and Fin and Gabs are looking forward to the holidays (I don't think English schools are on holiday quite yet are they?). :) x
