Memories!!

Just a quick post before work! As we get older I think some of us might forget the importance of Valentines Day, I know I don't  really think of it as "exciting" anymore which I know is a real shame, but do you know what? now that Fin and Gabs and all their friends are talking about Valentines Day it takes me back to when I was at school and wondered if I would get any cards, I also remember going to school with dread that I wouldn't and be laughed at!!!! To hear Fin and Gabs talking about it makes me chuckle and find myself wondering if they will get any!!! I think I might make an effort and make Will a lovely card ! Gabs wants to make her best friends one, how cute is that!! Just thought I would show this fab piece of artwork from Mary Engelbreit and ask you all, Do you remember feeling like that? Aah the memories!

    Thank you for showing this cute picture! I love Mary Engelbreit's work too, the decorative details and vivid colours remind me of pictures I loved as a child. Loved your button project in CB, by the way! Helen x

    The flutterbys in your stomach..not wanting to eat,feeling,anxious,happy,excited and sick at the same time...ohh the torture!!!
    not that I get any cards now..ahhhhh..so I collect the postcards if I see them..sentimental old fool I am!!

    I remember that too, but none of the boys at our school really gave cards out! So I never got any :(, but I remember embarassing a boy woh I gave one too, in front of all his friends! Hee hee! Hope Finn and Gabs get cards! :) x

    Lovely picture, yes I remember those feelings. I never received a card at school :( But then again when I was 'that' age I thought boys were nasty horrid things :)

    Hubs, still sends me a card after all these years and still signs it with a question mark, bless x

    i once spent all my pocket money on valentines cards and was so afraid i wouldn't get any, i ended up sending them to myself *blush*
